Anasazi pitcher pot, attributed to Mesa Verde culture. black on white. Acquired at Andrews Pueblo Pottery, Albuquerque NM in ~1975. The owner of the gallery (now deceased) was a fixture in Old Town, with a shop located across the street from the plaza and the church for 40 years. He was also a past President of the Santa Fe Indian Art Show. His reputation as an authority concerning Pueblo Pottery was impeccable. This treasured pot has held a special place in the display in our home for almost 50 years. As we wind down our dealer activity, we are offering it a reduced price, well below its market value.
