PM79 Acoma Pueblo Judy Lewis wedding vase. 8 1/4" x 4 3/4"
$405.00
Native American Acoma Judy Lewis's Wedding Vase has two things that catch the eye concerning a wedding.
One is the "baby" lying on the lap of groom. A harbinger, perhaps, of a fruitful relationship. The other is the delicacy of Judy Lewis's traditional use of three-dimensional birds, butterflies and lady bugs. A true work of art.
Judy Lewis was born at Acoma in 1966 and became a pottery artist in the 1980s. She is the sister of Marilyn Ray, who's instrumental in her development as a pottery maker. Judy's work is characterized by a sense of fun and good nature.
