Acoma Pottery
A dancing Kokopelli is indented on the top of the pot. it is accompanied by polychrome designs. A tiny opening preserves the stored seeds and facilitates limiting the seeds per planting.
Carolyn Lewis-Concho is a potter born into Acoma Pueblo in 1963. She was encouraged to participate in continuing the generations of tradition of working with clay by several of her family members, principally her older sister, Marilyn Ray, who helped her make the decision to be an artist and use only natural materials in her work.
