Acoma Pottery
PD44 Acoma Angelina Medina seed pot. 1 1/2" x 7"
$520.00
Native American Angelina Medina created and signed this Acoma Pueblo seed pot. As is often the case, the photo does not do justice to the pot.
The relief is deep and the colors are vibrant. And, of course, Angelina Medina is a superb pottery artist.
Angelina Medina was born in 1942, a member of the Bear Clan at Acoma/Zia/Zuni. She has been active in making the world more beautiful with her inspired works of clay since the early 80s. Her work has earned her several awards throughout the Southwest. Angelina Medina is also a great mentor having taught and inspired distinguished potters Zuni Pueblo. Noreen Simplicio and Anderson Peynetsa both credit Angelina for much of their success as potters.
1.5" x 7" diameter. #PD44
