We speculate that this is an early signature for Bessie Yepa of Jemez Pueblo, based on research that suggests that Bessie Yepa would have been about 57 at the time we purchased this seed pot at Walatosa Shop on the Jemez Pueblo and would have been living on Jemez Pueblo at the time according to several record sources.

This speculation is reinforced by the appearance of a pot of similar style and painting offered by WorthPoint and attributed to Bessie Yepa.
